Thanks for reminder from Danny that under international law someone who claims asylum after entering a country by any means is not an illegal immigrant- because it is recognised they had no other option: an ’asylum visa’ does not exist. Disappointed however that Andrew was speaking from a very poor knowledge base on this subject, relying on hearsay not on the facts.
