S5E8: Late Abortion Case, Populism and Conspiracyland

This week Jo Evans, Alicia Edmund and Danny Webster are joined by Dawn McAvoy, co-ordinator of the campaign 'Both Lives Matter', to discuss the case of Carla Forster, the mother whose was convicted of inducing an abortion outside the legal limit using pills at home.

 

They also reflect on the life of Silvio Berlusconi, the rise of populist politics, Donald Trump and Boris Johnson. Finally they take a look at a new podcast from BBC Radio 4, 'Mariana in Conspiracyland', investigating the influence of conspiracy paper 'The Light' in the Devon town of Totnes.
